  • Used to teach Revolutionary War Unit - students move through unit by clicking on different colored pushpins
  • Embedded images/DE builder activity link in description box
  • Path - connects push pins
  • Embedded TeacherTube - vodcast

  • Can now save tour as ppt - new 5.0 feature
  • Polygon tool - student added to indicate who won the battle

  • Embed Glogster in description includes video for students (Blabberize), links to websites and links to DE Builder

Ideas for using Google Earth

• Use different colored pushpins for different work habits
• Create builder on DE and put link into description box - opens DE when students click on link
• Centers in elementary classroom - technology center
• Use different colors for different paths
• When students add pushpins to group tour - they include their first name
• Explore Google Warehouse - populated with content that others have created and posted
